Booking & Reservations

Must be at least 21+ years to book our cabins, campsites and/or RV sites.

Check-In — 2:00 PM EST

All check-ins will be in the Main Office (see map below). Following all stays, for the health and safety of our guests and staff, we must allow adequate time to sanitize and clean each cabin/site. Should your room not be ready upon check-in, please enjoy the property during your wait.

Check-Out — 10:00 AM EST

We encourage you to book again before departure to ensure your preferences for your next stay. Please book reservations online or call (906)-288-3404 to make sure we have your most up-to-date email and phone number to ensure your booking for next time goes seamlessly.

cancellation & no-Show policy

One (1) night charge if you cancel within two (2) weeks of your reservation. Full charge of stay, if cancelled within one (1) week or one (1) day of the reservation. There are no refunds on early departure.

Cabin(s) and site(s) will be released at 8:00 AM EST the day following the reservation, and the complete balance will be processed with the payment on file.

Trail permits, fishing & hunting licenses

Trail permits and fishing and hunting licenses can be purchased down the road at Krupp’s Mini-Mart!

Kruppy the snowman

Kruppy the Snowman is our trusty snow measurer. Made by Richard Krupp (the original owner), Casandra knew Kruppy had to stay to inform visitors just how much snow was here!

winter Permit parking

With the purchase of a winter parking permit, guests and visitors may use our plowed field to park trailers, vehicles and other motorized toys. We also provide a warming and changing house for visitor convenience. Permits may be purchased inside the warming house. See map below for parking direction.

The weather U.P. here can vary drastically day-to-day, so we advise checking out your favorite weather app for the latest and greatest forecast.

pet policy

We are a pet friendly resort! A pet fee of $10.00 a day will apply if you would like to bring your furry friend. Please inquire when making your reservation.

damage policy

All of our cabins are smoke-free and we ask that our guests respect the property and clean-up after themselves as-needed. Guests are responsible for all damages. Fees will be assessed.

Laundry

An on-site laundry facility is COMING SOON! Until then, laundry facilities are available “in town” (Houghton/Hancock) about 25 miles away.

Whether you forgot a toothbrush, ketchup or the bug dope — don’t stress! Right down the road Krupp’s Mini-Mart has everything you need for your backwoods vacation. As the locals say; “If Krupp’s doesn’t have it, you don’t need it!”

trailer & toy parking

During the summer months, we know people come up with all sorts of motorized toys — from trailers, boats, side-by-sides, and more we have the space in our field to park so you can get to playing!

pontoon & motor boat rentals

Enjoy the lake system (Lake Roland, Little Lake Gerald & Big Lake Gerald) in Twin Lakes by boat! Whether you want to putz on a pontoon or motor over to a fishing hole, we have both options for rent! All boat rentals include the first tank of gas.

  • 14 ft Motorboat: $100/day

  • Pontoon: $250/day

waterfront & launch Access

We have easy waterfront access to Lake Roland with docks to launch, fish and swim at! Just down the road (Twin Lakes State Park), there is access to a boat ramp and we offer pontoon rentals on-site.

paddle board rentals

Feel like cruising the lake(s) with your own arm power rather than a motor? Rent a variety of water equipment through Portage Paddle Sports! Plan ahead and book your paddle board(s) and kayak(s) — they will deliver right to you!

trails & parks

Our resort is in eye-sight of the famous Bill Nicholls Trail, which spans 41 miles through the Upper Peninsula’s scenic Copper Country. The resort is also right down the road from Twin Lakes State Park, which features it’s own trails and amenities!

The lake(s)

Krupp's Resort overlooks and provides direct waterfront access to Lake Roland, one of two lakes apart of the "Twin Lakes" water system.
